Mike Pierce vs. Eduardo Rocha Booked For UFC on FX 3

Well, it looks like that rumored grudge match between Eric Silva and Mike Pierce has been put on the backburner, because Pierce just booked Eduardo Rocha for a vacant slot on the UFC on FX 3 card.

Rocha broke the news via his official facebook account.

UFC on FX 3 is tentatively scheduled for June 8, but a location and venue have yet to be revealed by company officials.

Pierce last saw action at UFC 143 where he lost a razor thin decision to top welterweight Josh Koscheck. The loss marked his second UFC loss in six official outings.

Rocha is a “Team Black House” member who gave Jake Ellenberger all he could handle at UFC 126, but he lost. Having been put on the sidelines due to injury for more than a year this booking signifies his health and ability to return to action. Prior to the Ellenberger loss he was undefeated.

    • GET RID OF FITCH says:

I agree Rocha has some of the sickest offensive BJJ I have ever seen in MMA. This kid is real deal. He had Ellenberger scrambing to get away and avoid his BJJ at all costs. Noone wants anything to do with this kid on ground. look for Pierce to try and stay away from him keep it standing. I think we should have got to see Pierce get his rematch with Fitch. Pierce was 5 seconds and 1 or 2 punches from a KO against Fitch and has been asking for a rematch for 2 years. Perfect fighter to hand Fitch anotehr KO loss and we can fans can finally hope to be DONE with the most boring LEG HUMPING discrace of a so-called fighter to ever set foot in cage. UFC is ultimate fighting not ULTIMATE HUMP A LEG FOR 15 MINUTES. Please dana do alll MMA favor and release Fitch
