Mike Goldberg Set For UFC Return At UFC on FOX 6 | UFC NEWS

Longtime ringside commentator, Mike Goldberg has called the action on nearly every single UFC event in the modern MMA era, alongside his broadcasting partner Joe Rogan.

However, at the 2012 year-end event, dubbed UFC 155, “Goldie” was absent and little was known as to the cause of his vanishing act. In his place was FUEL TV correspondent Jon Anik who took to the vacant mic next to Rogan and did his best Goldberg impersonation for the evenings full bout card.

UFC president Dana White remained silent when asked on a possible return date for Goldberg and the media and fans have been left to speculate not only the cause of this absence but the probability of a speedy return as well.

Now we have the later pinned down. As confirmed to BJPENN.COM, Mike Goldberg is set to rock the open mic again at next weekend’s UFC on FOX 6 event in Chicago and will return to his normal cage side duties.

Sorry Anik fans…

i never thought i’d be saying this but glad the buffoons back! Anik seems to stifle Rogan and it all seems too scripted to attract more newbies IMHO
