Michael Bisping lands 2-year analyst deal with FUEL TV | UFC NEWS

FUEL TV wants more of “The Count.” Michael Bisping (23-5) has recently been added as an analyst for FUEL TV. They landed a deal with the middleweight Ultimate Fighting Championship star – who is known to say exactly how he feels – to be an analyst on the weigh-in shows, pre and post fight shows.

Bisping had a successful debut appearance on the show when he covered UFC on FUEL TV 8: Silva vs. Stann this past weekend. Bisping said to Bloodyelbow.com’s Steph Daniels that the producers liked him and offered him a contract.

“I just left my manager’s office and I just signed the contract,” he said on Bloody Elbow. “I’ll be a regularly featured analyst on FUEL TV. There’s a lot of down time in between fights, so this allows me to be productive. I had a really great time last week and the producers liked me, so they offered me a contract. I think the next time I’m due back is in three or four weeks. I’m not sure how often I’ll be on, but it should be pretty regularly, because I’m close to L.A.”

Bisping will still be fighting through his FUEL TV contract. His next fight will be against Alan Belcher (18-7) at UFC 159: Jones vs. Sonnen at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on April 27. Bisping lost his last fight at UFC on FX 7: Belfort vs. Bisping against Vitor Belfort in January via technical knockout at 1 minute and 27 seconds in the second round.

  1. Bad move... says:

I honestly could NOT understand him 50% of the time he spoke….

  2. 123 says:

be quiet its his accent, if you actually listen you will understand him.. if not get ****ed

    • Bad move says:

Exactly, it is his accent, my point exactly! Even you recognize this…don’t catch feelings for the obvious, why do I want to listen to a commentator whose accent makes it difficult to understand his analysis????

  3. pleb says:

Just goes to show what a genuine bloke bisping is! Chael talks! But he dont get no deal! Mike has a personality, deal with it.

  4. magoo says:

Good career move, after Belcher taps ur Limey ass you’ll be lucky to be on the prelims. Ur over rated fighting days will soon be over!

  5. 123 says:

    be quiet you disrespectful idiot

  6. K CAMERON says:

It’s hard to believe an analyst that will require subtitles to be understood is going to be paid for that. When I saw him, I really thought it was a joke.

    • Bad move says:

Thank you, exactly my point! It’s not that I don’t like Bisping, I think he can be funny a lot of times, but it’s just hard to understand the cat majority of times….he is the equivalent of listening to Ozzy Osbourne speak…

  7. 123 says:

well i can understand everything he says, some people are just ignorant & will be a tit for the sake of it.. dont watch it if you cant understand him.

  8. Bad Move says:

Once again 123, my point exactly, I won’t watch him, I’m sure others won’t either, which means less ratings for the show, hence “bad move.” Is this starting to make sense to you now or do I have to explain more?

I’m glad you can understand him, I wish I could, too! Chances are you share the same accent? It would have been smarter if the UFC would have him serve as an analyst for the British markets.

  9. 123 says:

    ignorant tit
