Michael Bisping: ‘After Belfort, I think there’s no question that I’m the No. 1 contender’

By all accounts, I think Anderson Silva is probably going to be fighting GSP, if GSP beats Condit next. Yeah, a lot of people want me to fight for the title, but as I said that opportunity isn’t there right now. I want to continue fighting. The more I fight, the better I get. The more time I spend in a training camp, the more I improve. I want to fight the best guys out there.
If I beat Vitor Belfort, I think there’s no question that I’m the No. 1 contender. And I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is. I think I deserve it. If I beat Vitor, I deserve it. If I don’t beat him, then I don’t deserve to be in a title fight anyway.”

Bisping is a legend in his own mind and IMO one of the most overrated fighters in MMA. He is a product of UFC/Joe Rogan and Goldie overhype with no money spared on his over the top propaganda campaign by the UFC all to gain as amny Brit fans as they possibly can. How is it a guy who has never beaten a TRUE top 10 or even a top 5 opponent is ranked #4. Weidman, Belfort, Belcher, Sonnen, Rockhold,Boetsch, Lombard, Philipou, Jacare, OKami,. I even think WAndy, Franklin would beat Bisping its amazing all the top quality Middleweights Bisping ahs managed to avoid while he was fighting Mayhem Miller, Dan miller, Jorge, Rivera, Charles McCarthy while all the other TRUE TOP ranked middleweights were fighting ACTUAL TRUE top ranked opponents. Everyone seems to forget he ahs lost to every top 10 fighter he ahs ever faced and he lost to Matt Hamill who wasn’t a top 10 fighter.

Bisping nearly beat the number 2 guy in the divison, alot of people think he won,before that fight he was on a 4 fight win streak. and then beating stann witch was top 10 fighter when he beat him, and if he beats vitor witch is top 5 without a dout bisping will get the title shot… he only been out classed 1 time in his life, evans,silva,sonnen were all close fights and alot of people think he won those fights, to people that say vitor will kill bisping are crazy, bisping is 100% in the top 5 fighters for cardio in mma, hes got very good ground game and wrestling, his stand up was good but his head movement was bad but the last fight against stsnn he had great boxing with the jab like bj penn and good head movment so he has a very good chance bisping by tko round 4
He won that fight against Chael IMO.. Bisping spent hardly any time on his back in the first 2 rounds and controlled sonnen against the cage..
I agree with most of the fight comments. I do believe that Vitor will beat Bisping that’s just my opinion. I do have to say that Bisping fighting Sonnen was not that big of a deal. I did think he beat him. I also think that Sonnen is way over rated . Great wrestler but is not a threat at all with his power or the bjj. I can’t believe he keeps getting mentioned in the top 5. Trust me JBJ who I don’t like by the way is going to smash Sonnen no doubt. Bisping vs Vitor will be entertaining that’s for sure.

Really startin to like Bisping. His win against Stann was impressive. He said “If I beat Vitor, I deserve it. If I don’t beat him, then I don’t deserve to be in a title fight anyway.” Bisping usually comes across like an asshole but i like how he’s carrying himself now.

Let me explain u one thing… it s not becoz A beats B, then B beats C that C can t beat A… do you follow me ? Silva beat Cung Le, Franklin beat Silva so for sure Cung Le has no chances against Franklin…
By saying a fighter as expeirnced and skilled as Bisping has no chance says you might not know what your talking about.. Anyone with the expeirnce and skill level of that caliber has a chance to win any fight.. I personally think Vitor will win but saying Bisping has no chance is ridiculous.

Bisping used to be a bit of a T**T but he has seemed to matured as a person and as a fighter i believe he deserves a title shot more than belfort, vito aint really done very well of recent so i also dont get why he is getting all these top fights he aint been the Vito of old for along time now so im thinking bisping will beat him in the 3rd/4th round TKO and if he doesnt then he shouldnt be fighting in the UFC cos the rest of the MW division is stacked with much more dangerous and capable fighters than belfort
This is a great matchup style wise. If Michael can avoid getting stunned with a good punch and get swarmed on then he has a good chance at winning this fight! But Vitor can end this fight quickly if he catches him.
Bisping beats Belfort, I´ve know how Vitor fights, and he is not a threat anymore.
okay…so let’s say bisping wins this one and gets a shot at the title, what now, its not like he can beat AS. this is just another walk in the park for AS and people will be watching it not interested who will win(coz its already been decided) but how bisping gets KO’d…come to think of it,i like bisping to win now over vitor and gets a shot at AS.
