‘Mayhem’ Miller Breaks Silence, Responds to Uriah Hall Incident

Following an altercation that saw UFC middleweight Uriah Hall punch former UFC fighter Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller after Miller shouted a barrage of racial slurs at Hall, Miller is claiming innocence and Dana White said the UFC will not punish Hall.

Middleweight fighter Uriah Hall may finally be on UFC President Dana White’s good side.  Hall, despite an impressive run on the 17th season of the UFC’s reality-television show, ‘The Ultimate Fighter,’ has given lackluster performances in his two professional bouts for the UFC.  In fact, White even recently stated that Hall’s next fight could be his last.

Then Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller entered the picture.  He and Hall got in a heated exchange at a BAMMA event at the Commerce Casino in California last weekend, with Miller shouting racial slurs at Hall, and Hall eventually throwing a punch at Miller.  Everything was caught on tape.

Now, in the wake of what has become a hot-topic in the MMA world, UFC President Dana White took to Twitter and seemed to imply that Uriah Hall won’t be facing any disciplinary action.

This surprised a number of fans as the UFC has been cracking down on its fighters after implementing a new code of conduct.

To add to the situation, Miller took to Twitter to explain himself; and according to the former MMA fighter, he’s “full of love.”  He also denies allegations of racism, though the video of the argument clearly shows Miller shouting racial slurs directly at Hall.

It seems to me that I must play the ‘bad guy,’” Miller wrote in a statement that reflects many of his recent statements, “insomuch as that is the narrative that everyone is writing for me.  Truth is, I’m full of love.

Over the weekend, he would post a number of Tweets about the altercation.

Miller has been in the news a lot recently, and unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.  His three arrests this year have been well documented.

Uriah Hall has not posted anything on Twitter specifically about the altercation with Miller.

Man, Miller really needs some help. Truly a shame he’s gone off the deep end.

  2. Rob says:

The author of his article shouldn’t be calling Hall the Ultimate fighter. He lost that title.
