Matt Mitrione vs Phil De Fries Slated for UFC 155 | UFC News
UFC officials on Friday announced a heavyweight bout between Matt Mitrione and Phil De Fries is added on the UFC 155 fight card.
Matt Mitrione was originally scheduled to be part of UFC on Fox 4 opposite Rob Broughton then talks of rescheduling the match up for UFC on FX 5 but the bout was eventually scrapped all together. Instead, Mitrione faces Phil De Fries who just got a W over Oli Thompson on UFC on Fox 4.
UFC 155 is set to take place December 29

Ok, now this card right here is stacked, capped by an awesome main event. Having crazy Matt Mitrione on the undercard ain’t bad either. Thumbs up to Mr. Dana White for ending this year on a positive not. Just hope that none of the fighters on this card gets hurt in training, fellas, don’t go too hard in training, save some for the 29th.
