Matt Lindland, Matt Riddle, Graham Spencer & Dennis Bermudez Join BJPenn.Com Radio Wednesday Night

Join BJPenn.Com Radio this Wednesday as hosts Bryan Levick and Mitch Ciccarelli will continue to go over this past Saturday night’s historic main event at UFC 157 in Anaheim. The UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship bout between Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche certainly lived up to all of the hype and if anything exceeded expectations.

Leading things off will be former US Olympic Silver Medalist and one of the founding fathers of Team Quest, Matt Lindland. Although the noise has quieted down a bit, there is still a lot of work to be done if we plan on saving wrestling from being cut from the Olympic Games in 2020. We’ll also ask Lindland about the Dan Henderon-Lyoto Machida bout from UFC 157 and where he thinks Henderson goes from here.

Matt Riddle is fresh off a unanimous decision victory over Che Mills in England at UFC on Fuel TV 7 on February 16. The win helped run his unbeaten streak to four, including three wins and one no-contest. Riddle is slowly, but surely moving up the welterweight ranks. He is improving in and out of the cage  with each and every fight, but that doesn’t mean he will stop saying what’s on his mind!

Newly crowned MFC Lightweight Champion Graham Spencer will talk to us about his third round submission win over Mukai Maromo at MFC 36 on February 15. The win was his fourth in a row and improved his overall record to 10-1. Spencer has competed in both the featherweight and lightweight divisions and may attempt to win titles in both divisions.

If you missed Dennis Bermudez’s Fight of the Night barn-burner with Matt Grice at UFC 157, I suggest you go and watch it now. The two men waged a war of attrition and despite both of them being severely hurt, refused to go down. Grice dropped Bermudez in the first, but the New York native survived and nearly finished Grice in the third round with an all out attack that would’ve finished most other fighters. The win was Bermudez’s third in a row after suffering a three fight losing streak.
