Mark Munoz On Chael Sonnen | His “MMA Wrestling” Is Better, But I Hit Harder

“In MMA wrestling, Sonnen is better; I’m humble enough to say that. But I hit harder. My ground-and-pound is a lot better; my scrambling is a lot better. He might take me down, but he’ll never hold me down—I’m the cream, and he’s water. I always rise to the top; I always come out on top. It’s not a certain technique, but it’s a mentality. And Chael’s a great guy, great fighter, but I truly believe I can knock him out or submit him. And that’s the truth. I’m not trying to say this arrogantly, but I truly believe I can beat him up. And if he didn’t feel that way either (about beating me up), then there’s something wrong with him. You’ve got to have that confidence.”
Mark Munoz recently sat down with Bleacherreport.com to discuss his recovery from surgery amongst other things.
One of those things was the assessment on his previously scheduled opponent Chael Sonnen.
The two were supposed to square off during the UFC on FOX 2 co-main event, but elbow surgery sidelined Munoz and the UFC opted to put Bisping in his place. Sonnen won the contest and now waits to fight Anderson Silva for the UFC’s middleweight title.
If the two had faced off (Munoz and Sonnen) who do you give the edge to?

As much as i like Munoz over Sonnen…not happening pal. Munoz needs to work on his ground defense, sonnen wrestling is just too much…ask silva.
Sonnen asked, Anderson replied with a triangle. Sonnen said I quit.
