Though the average American fan can seem a bit, lets just call it douchy, when it comes to an MMA bout. Such as booing during situations that are simply a part of the game but are ofter viewed as “boring”. At least, most of the time, those fans don’t cross into the category of strange. The same can’t always be said about fans in the land of the rising sun. And though Japanese fans have always had a beautiful respect of the sport, take the UFC on Fuel TV event for example, when it was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. There are some fans who take their fandom just a little to far.
Case in point, Hassy ‘Xjp’ Nishikawa. A super fan of the “Super Samoan” Mark Hunt who, to say the least, has taken their love of the fighter to new levels. Such levels that I couldn’t say anything to really paint the picture. Instead, rather, it’s best for you guys to just see the pictures that Hassy ‘Xjp’ Nishikawa has painted.

Although this may strike some as, well… creepy, with comments such as “ When you come back to Japan and I can meet you,…I would like to walk along the beach together….” at least its better than the average drunken booing we have come to expect from the fans here in the US.
