Mark Hominick Retires From Mixed Martial Arts Competition | UFC NEWS

“I truly got to live my passion and follow my dreams by competing in mixed martial arts, especially under the Zuffa banner, but UFC 154, that’s the last fight I’ll be in the octagon, as I’m retiring and looking to move on to the next phase of my career. As a family, I have young daughter. I have another daughter on the way, and I think that’s the next phase of my life. I need to put focus into that. I’m always going to be involved in the sport. This is my passion. This is what fuels me.”
7 fight UFC veteran and former featherweight title challenger Mark Hominick announced his retirement through FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight.”
The Canadian based fighter is 30-years old.

Jeffrey Brake has fought in New Brunswick in an aamteur MMA fight and is fighting again in June, on the 9th, for Canadian Cage Rage MMA in Newfoundland proposes a lot of issues, CASK is not a good foundation for MMA, I have been involved with MMA commissions across Canada and the US and I have been involved with CASK and Kickboxing NL. I have no objection to the Foley’s sanctioning Kickboxing following CASK rules and being the president of Kickboxing NL, I just don’t think they would be right for MMA.
