As Manny Pacquiao tries to put Juan Manuel Marquez to his rightful place for good on November 12, a new three-fight series, a third for the pound for pound king, is looming and will likely become the brand new topic of the day.
Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach has recently confided with Quinito Henson of Philstar.com, his thoughts on the long-awaited Pacquiao vs. Mayweather match. Roach believe the fight everyone in the world wants to see will not just happen sooner than everyone thinks but it may even become another three-part series for the Filipino boxing star.
Pacquiao’s first trilogy came after Mexican Erik Morales first won over him via a unanimous decision in March 2005. Their second encounter happened in January of 2006 and this was won by Pacquiao via TKO in 10 rounds. The last of the series came in November 2006 when Pacquiao knocked out Morales in three rounds
