Maiquel Falcao Joins Bellator Middleweight Ranks

Former UFC slugger, Maiquel Falcao has signed with Bellator Fighting Championship.
Company CEO Bjorn Rebney announced the news this past weekend during the Spike.com preliminary broadcast.
Falcao is best known for his sole performance in the UFC in November of 2010 when he fought and beat Gerald Harris in a very exciting three-round fight. After the victory both Harris and Falcao were released from the UFC, Harris for his loss and Falcao due to some lingering legal issues in Brazil that the UFC was against.
A debut date and opponent for the 10-1 Brazilian have not yet been announced.
“My plan is to keep on fighting and winning. I hope to fight in the U.S. again soon. The American fans send me hundreds of messages every day, and they show me much affection. I’d like to return the love.”
