Lesnar Returning To UFC? White Does Not Deny Rumors

As if there is not enough going on this weekend at UFC 168?

Rumors and reports have been circulating and swirling over the possible return of former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

In this video, UFC president Dana White, with a sly grin, says that he “honestly” doesn’t know why Lesnar is in Vegas this weekend.

Lesnar is 36-years-old and is a part-time performer with World Wrestling Entertainment, and is expected to have a major role in the company’s Wrestlemania XXX in April 2014. He won the UFC championship in Nov. 2008, and defended it successfully twice. His time in the cage was severely hampered by two serious bouts with diverticulitis that led to surgery and threatened his athletic career. Lesnar lost the championship to Cain Velasquez on Oct. 2010. Lesnar headlined four straight pay-per-views that broke the 1 million buy mark, a UFC record.

Are you buying the possibility of a Lesnar return? With PPV juggernaut Georges St. Pierre stepping away from the cage, the organization could be in need of another pay-per-view king.

Brock represents old school UFC. One kind of style with a few additions. This is what UFC needs.
