Kyle Kingsbury, Rich Chou, Pedro Carrasco, Mike Ricci & Ryan Couture Join BJPenn.Com Radio on Wednesday Night
With less than one week left before BJ Penn returns to the Octagon hosts Bryan Levick & Mitch Ciccarelli welcome five fantastic guest to the show on Wednesday night.
Kyle Kingsbury will kick things off and with his engaging personality and great sense of humor our listeners are sure to be entertained. The 30-year-old Kingsbury has lost three straight, but is known for his toughness and his willingness to do whatever it takes to entertain the fans.
Live from Seattle where they are with BJ Penn, former Strikeforce matchmaker and longtime family friend Rich Chou and BJPenn.Com editor Pedro Carrasco will give us an update on how Penn is feeling with just three days before his huge fight against Rory MacDonald. Penn has been out of action for over a year and MMA fans all over the world are eagerly anticipating his return to the Octagon.
TUF 16 contestant Mike Ricci who will also be in Seattle will talk to our hosts about his good friend and training partner Rory MacDonald’s fight with Penn. Both men train alongside UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre at Tri-Star under the tutelage of Firas Zahabi. Ricci is one of the brightest prospects in all of MMA and could be a UFC champion before too long.
Ryan Couture is just a month away from the biggest fight of his career as well. Couture, the son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture will face KJ Noons at the last Strikeforce show on January 12 in Oklahoma. A win over Noons could all but insure a spot on the UFC roster for Couture.
