Koscheck Not A Fan Of Nick Diaz Or The Way Title Shots Are Handed Out | UFC NEWS

It just seems like now in the UFC, if you can talk a good game, you might be able to get a light heavyweight title shot. And if you get suspended for a year, come right back after losing a fight, you get to fight Georges St. Pierre for the title. So, maybe I’ll just take a couple of months off, do some things I shouldn’t do, and maybe I’ll get to fight for the title. But, hey, he’s in the position now and hopefully he can step up and beat Georges St. Pierre. I highly doubt it — I believe it’s going to be an easy fight for St. Pierre. He’ll just take him down, wrestle him and control him like he has everyone else. Georges is going to be there for awhile — it’s going to take a good wrestler who can stop his takedowns and has power in his hands and eventually knock him out.”

He’s right. It’s really all business now. The ufc it’s what it used to. It really sucks for real fans that believe that best fighters should fight each other. Now it’s like I’m gonna advertise my self and talk a bunch of shit so I get noticed. Then I’ll get my shot. Sonnen did it. Well I think the thing with sonnen it’s that it was a little of both luck and advertisement. He did agree to fight jones when the ufc needed someone and no one else would step up. In a way the ufc is paying back his effort to save the event. But then weidman. Yeah unfortunately there’s no one else to fight silva but weidman doesn’t deserve the shot, accomplishment wise. I think a fight between belfort and weidman would be a lot more interesting than silva weidman. But I do wanna see silva fight at least a couple times this year. So it’s a coin toss. That’s my point of view. It really sucks for the fighters that get left behind because they don’t have the talk.
