Koscheck Looking For Big Names And Big Fights

“I want to fight the guys at the top. That’s where I want to be. The guys at the bottom want to fight guys that are at the top. I’ll fight anybody. Realistically, I want a big fight, my next fight to be a big fight. Who could it be? Maybe a Nick Diaz, maybe a B.J. Penn, Carlos Condit, maybe someone at 185-pounds. There are a lot of good guys at 185-pounds, I’d definitely like to fight some of those guys. I want big names and big fights.”

Id like to see him move up a weight class.. Im tired of him in the welterweight. he had his chance and blew it

    • GET RID OF FITCH says:

Yeah the only reason koscheck is saying he would move up to middleweight is because Dana has been telling both Fitch and Kos if they ever want another shot at GSP they will have to fight each other so i’m sure since Kos has lost to GSP twice he’s taking one for the team. I think it should be mandatory for all top 10 UFC fighters to have to fight each other no matter what. Is it fair to the other contenders that both Fitch and Kos are getting a pass from having to fight each other? No its total bullshit and when Swick was in the top 10 AKA was using all 3 fighters to manuever their way thru the rankings and picking fights. I predict somoene like Condit or Rory or Ellenberger takes out Fitch and the UFC will release him. UFC is all about making money and they have made it clear Fitch that he is over paid and has very little if any fan support and they can’t sell him on PPV so he will be gone by end of 2012 IMO. just go read Dave Meltzers interview SB Nation/ UFC wants rid of Fitch. Fitch was told if he lost the BJ fight he would have been released, so what has Fitch done since then NOTHING so hopefully on e of these NEW BREED of REALFIGHTERS not LAY N PRAY boring ass using the rules to basically cheat Fitch will be GONE

hopefully he gets big fights and big wins…

  4. Jon "pound for pound most boring human being" Fitch says:

Although he is my friend I would like to fight Koscheck. (Aka hump him directly into oblivion using the octogons cage as leverage)

  5. ThaGreenBandit says:

So… Is it welter weight or middleweight that he’s coming back at? He bouncing between the two or what?

  6. ThaGreenBandit says:

He actually completed the whole interview without coming off as a dick. Good job, Kos

  7. rondo says:

    @ Jaimie………Oh yea!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. mmaislandjunkie says:

stick to 170 you lost to medium to high level guys there and they dont have a size advantage. moving up might not be the smartest choice, unless it’s only to fight bonnar i wouldnt mind seeing that fight.

  9. The Dude says:

Man Fitch and Kos are trying so hard not to be gatekeepers…..

too bad that is exactly what they are. Sorry boys, you’ve both gotten raped by the man with the belt, brutally raped with no lube. Kos and Fitch have about 0% shot at being champs, and they won’t fight eachother, they are gatekeepers. Gatekeepers who lose to nerd that talk like robots.

  10. Brandon says:

All of haters should shut the fuck up!!
Jon Fitch is not boring!! He is a knockout artist!!
He puts me to sleep everytime he fights!!

  11. Surfari says:

    Koshcheck vs Sonnen

  12. Ninja Oreo Dollop says:

    Give him Anthony “Rumble” Johnson!

  13. Fortyb4five says:

BJ vs kos sounds like a real good fight.

  14. lester says:

Blow Job Penn would destroy kos by rear humping choke.

  15. J W says:

Kos was an awesome coach on TUF; he took it so seriously. I think GSP’s fighters are doing better in the UFC though. Nam Phan pretty much the only one doing anything noticable from Kos’ team

So he lost to GSP. No shame for Kos in that. Continue to make $$$$ now, like he said.
