Justin Lawrence Meets Max Holloway At UFC 150 | UFC NEWS

A featherweight bout has been added to the UFC’s return to Denver.

TUF Live stand-out Justin Lawrence is set to face Max Holloway.

UFC officials on Monday announced the fight for UFC 150. Its placement on the card is not yet known. UFC 150’s main card airs on pay-per-view, while FX and Facebook are expected to carry the preliminary card.

UFC 150 takes place Aug. 11 at Pepsi Center in Denver and features a main event lightweight title fight between champion Ben Henderson.

Lawrence the top pick by Dominick Cruz on The Ultimate Fighter Live drops down a weight class to make his Featherweight debut. In his last bout at The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale defeated John Cofer via a head kick in the third round and won bonus awards for Fight of the Night & Knockout of the Night.

Holloway a Hawaiian in his last bout defeated Pat Schilling displaying some very impressive striking at The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale. Holloway is (5-1) overall in his MMA career and (1-1) in the UFC.
