A lot of good can come out of it. Fighters can learn the lesson of doing what’s best for themselves and not feeling like puppets. I think the UFC has learned a lesson of making sure they stay loyal to the fans and give them full cards.”
UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones told the media recently that he believes nothing but good can come from the UFC 151 cancellation many have blamed him for.
When the UFC builds an entire pay-per-view card around one marque match-up and that fight gets sidelined with a week to spare, is the UFC to blame for not stacking the card? Has the pressure of expanding the brand and putting on more shows tainted the quality of each card?
