Jon Jones Reveals Signature Nike Shoes And Shirts, Available For Purchase Soon

Nike is set to release the first pair of signature Jon “Bones” Jones shoes.

Earlier, Jones tweeted a picture of his new Nike “Bones” shoes and shirt. Since being signed by Nike, Jones has sported the swoosh on his shorts in the cage, and has worn the “Bones Knows” t-shirt almost out. Nike partnering with the UFC’s light heavyweight champion is a big step in the mainstream recognition of mixed martial arts and its athletes. The merchandise release will begin Friday at 9 a.m. and will also be available at the Niketown stores in Las Vegas and New York.

With UFC 159 right around the corner, where Jones (17-1, 11-1 UFC) will defend his belt against Chael Sonnen, this release is timely for the Jones’ camp and fan base.

Jones is in great company being sponsored in the octagon by Nike. The middleweight champ Anderson Silva and heavyweight contender Junior Dos Santos are both under Nike contract as well.

LMAO….How many nerds will buy these?? And Silva and JDS? Nike loosing money on those deals. Maybe there are some dumbass’ in Brazil will buy these because of those 2 dudes, Not. Who on will buy these or any other mma fighter’s gear?

  2. snooz and loze says:

Supporting a fighter by buying their walk out shirts etc.?

there is nothing wrong with this at all. I can see buying their shoes is a bit far but their tees is an awesome way to support your favorite fighters. It is like wearing a band t-shirt. There is nothing wrong with it. So what’s your beef bro? Bashing Brazil because MMA is huge there. Go make me a sandwich bud.

  3. Dddddddd says:

The thing that makes them dorky I think is that their not making a point to explain the relevance. Is it just a shoe that had already been designed and they just put Johns name on it or are they designed for mma fighters to work in? Maybe I just wanna know too much.

  4. Slim Charles says:

Would not buy the shoe unless it was a boxing/wrestling shoe and it was on a very steep discount.
