Mann… Vitor had that, but he didn’t turn Jon’s arm to where his thumb was pointing up… Sad
If he had done that, the arm would have snapped like a twig, and that would have been that.
That’s what I was saying! I was suprised a BJJ black belt didn’t adjust the submission to complete it.
He was being sportsman like, and didn’t pop his hip. He was easing the pressure to see if Jones would tap due to the pressure. Had he popped his hips forward, Jones elbow would have dislocated right there and then. Game over. Macarthy would have stopped the fight.
So you guys are saying vitor isn’t man enough to break an arm? It’s not like be will kill him. He would heal and be fine. U guys are just making excuses and butt hurt cuz u hate jones.
As much as I’m not liking the guy as a person these days. He is a great fighter. No denying that. He was a champ for not tapping when most would, and he stuck it out for a submission win, with a messed up right arm. Wonder who will be next? Sonnen? lol
A fighter is a person. Stop bullshitting and make up your mind. Either you like him or you don’t. Not “I don’t like him as a person, but I like him as a fighter” bullshit.
A fighter in the cage is not the same person outside of it. GSP, Vitor, Silva, JDS, Valasquez, etc… they are some of the nicest guys you’ll meet in person. But when they are fighting in the octagon, they are from it. Every fighter is looking to take out their opponents before they get taken out. I can respect him for his skills, but not his personality. I take it you don’t train. lol
Just like you, I can respect you for your opinion, but I think your a complete idiot for opening your mouth before you think.
Totally agree, as much hate as he’s been getting these last couple of weeks, Bones did fight like a true warrior against Vitor and deserves to be called a champion. I bet Greag Jackson was on the side going ” oh sh!t, there goes my investment” lmfao
^That is hilarious “there goes my investment,” Well played because it’s the truth!
What I’m wondering, is how bad the damage is. Some say it’s tendon damage, which isn’t bad. It’ll heal. Some say it could be nerve damage, which would suck big time. Nerve damage doesn’t heal. You’ll always have issues.
you can dislike someone as a person yet still love the way they fight. it’s simple, some one might have a style of fighting which you love, but may be a complete dick. there are manny fighters out there with seriouse skills and a lack of personality
An people say Jones doesn’t have heart. Lol.
I used to hate JBJ and thought he was fake as hell, but after seeing that fight I am a believer. He took that armbar like a bawse and was ready to leave his arm in the cage for the belt. I seriously thought that Jackson had JBJ’s balls in a vice until this fight. He took that submission like a man and came out with a W. Good for him. I am now truly a JBJ fan as of now. One word for his heart in the cage = BADASS.
