Johny Hendricks Suffers Second-Degree Burns While Filming UFC Promo

Johnny Hendricks just starred in a smoking-hot commercial for UFC 167.

Literally.

The UFC welterweight number one contender suffered second-degree burns to his back and shoulder, on the set of a video he had been filming for his much-anticipated meeting with longtime champion (and betting favorite), Georges St-Pierre.  Lights that were used to film the spot are apparently to blame, as they were placed too close to the hard-hitting Hendricks.

The good news is, “Bigg Rigg” only missed a few days of training, and has since completely healed from the injury. Great news to hear, considering this is one of the most highly anticipated fights of the year, and it happens to be the main event of the 20th anniversary UFC show.

You can watch the commercial in the link below.

  2. Bo says:

This is some amateur pro wrestling bs. UFC step your safety game up during your fancy promo’s. This is a real sport.

    • Nate "THE ROID CHEAT" Marquardt says:

Somehow I can’t but help think Greg Jackson or Firzziizzazazzaiaxa habibai had a hand in this.

Let’s be honest Greg jackson is a complete sleazebag when it comes to doing whatever it takes to make sure his fighters have aclear advantage

I mean everyone knows Dana wants GSP to win but this is pure fricken B.S. that they would allow something like this to happen

  3. The Way Of The Dutchman says:

I’m sure the dumbass who set those lights up is fired?
