Johny Hendricks Ready To Test GSp’s Wrestling & Chin | UFC NEWS

“That’s why I laugh when people say ‘we’ve figured out your left hand.’ My boxing isn’t my strong point. It’s something I’ve only been doing for five years; I’ve only been striking for five years. I’ve done wrestling my whole entire life. So if anybody’s going to say anything, wrestling is my strong point. I feel my jiu-jitsu is better than my hands… I can only get better. Look at how much better I got in just three months of being able to focus on training. I’m still developing as a fighter; I’ve only had 14 fights in my career. I think once I hit 20 fights that’s where I’m going to be at my peak… Always improving, that’s the No. 1 goal of mine.”

I bet a conservative guess on how many fans Johny Hendricks gained for knocking out Jon “Lay N Pray” Fitch would be somewhere around 500,000. I believe Hendricks will be champ someday as he knows as well as any the only way to beat GSP is by KO with the bias judging in MMA and the fact most likely any title fight will be held in Canada. Whats also funny is how many fans confuse “FITCHING” as being “great wrestling” sorry taking someone down and laying on them and stalling is not great wrestling. If you want to see “great wrestling” do some research on Johny Hendricks. Anyone who’s not a fan of Johny Hendricks is not a fan of MMA IMO. This guy is a “REAL FIGHTER” who comes to fight and doesn’t use his world class wrestling to lay on people and stall out boring a’ss decisions like other wrestlers are known for doing. Johny should have been paid about 250k for making so many fans so happy the night he KO’d the most boring fighter ie: lay n prayer to ever set foot in MMA
Are you going to change your name if Fitch puts up another FOTN performance like his last fight?
Bias judging? Hope your not referring to any of GSP fights because you would have to be very bias AGAINST GSP to not award him any of the rounds he’s won.
OFF TOPIC: Friggen Rockhold out of Strikeforce event. Gee like everyone doesn’t know he’s doing the exact same thing Melendez did. No gain all risk by fighting before he goes to UFC
He is to cocky now. I know he is a great wrestler and is a power puncher. Koschek got his orbital busted by GSP and this dude will too.
I would rather see gsp fight this man then to see silva tko him in the first
this is someone that only can have split decision with josh kosheck
