John Moraga set to fight Dustin Ortiz at UFC Fight Night 35

Flyweight contenders John Moraga (13-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC, pictured) and Dustin Ortiz (12-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) are set to face off next month at UFC Fight Night 35 scheduled to take place at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.
The event is set to air on FOX Sports 1 on January 15 with Luke Rockhold vs. Constantinos Philippou headlining. It is not yet determined where on the card Moraga vs. Oritz will be placed, but with Moraga being a former title challenger, and Ortiz coming off of a recent TKO victory, this fight is sure to be an entertaining one.
This will be Moraga’s first return to the Octagon after his loss to current UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious “Might Mouse” Johnson in July. However, before that defeat Moraga was on a seven fight win streak, which includes victories in the UFC over Chris Cariaso and Ulysses Gomez.
Ortiz, with a four fight-winning streak of his own, comes into this contest with a third round TKO victory in his UFC debut over Jose Maria in November under his belt.
