Jessamyn Duke vs. Peggy Morgan at TUF 18 Season Finale

Two females fighters that were eliminated during the season get another chance to shine at the TUF season 18 Finale taking place November 30 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Jessamyn Duke and Peggy Morgan, second and third pick of couch Ronda Rousey to win the whole thing, are set to face each other for another moment of glory UFC officials announced Monday.
Jessamyn Duke (2-0 MMA, 1 NC, 0-0 UFC) was eliminated in the quarterfinal round after an extremely close decision loss to Raquel Pennington, a fight that is being considered the fight of the season and a fight that could put woman’s MMA on the map. She made her way into the house via submission victory over Laura Holwarth in the preliminary bouts.
Raquel Pennington is scheduled to face Jessica Rakoczy on Wednesday for the women’s final fight in the semifinal round to see who fights for the women’s TUF title.
Though Peggy Morgan (2-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) was eliminated from the competition by a submission loss to Sarah Moras, she entered the house off of the momentum of a rather impressive TKO victory over Bethany Marshall. She hopes to use her dangerous striking to topple Duke when they meet in Vegas on the 30th.
Airing on FOX Sports 1, Nate Diaz and Grey Maynard face off for their third time to headline the TUF season 18 Finale. Their first time facing each other during their time on The Ultimate Fighter season 5. Also fighting on the card, Chris Holdsworth and Davey Grant face off to conclude the winner of this season’s male fighters, and Julianna Pena is scheduled to face the winner of Pennington vs Rakoczy to crown the first ever female TUF champion.
