Jeremy Stephens Arrested This Morning On Felony Charges Without Bail, UFC President Says Tonights Fight Still On | UFC NEWS

Edwards vs. Stephens matchup may be the second fight to scrapped from UFC on FX5 in the past 24 hours. Dennis Hallman and Thiago Tavares’ scheduled brawl was canceled when Hallman failed to make weight and left Minneapolis to deal with family issues in Washington.

Minneapolis Police Department arrested Jeremy Stephens this morning and is being held without bail at the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility.  The Minneapolis Police Department representative states:

Jeremy Stephens was arrested at the Marriott City Center Hotel (UFC host hotel this week), and arrived at the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility at 10:44 a.m. CT local time.  It’s currently unknown when Stephens is scheduled to be released from the facility.

Police officials could not offer specifics to the case. Representatives for Stephens didn’t return messages.  Official records indicated Stephens was detained in relation to an out-of-state felony charge.
