High Prospect, Bruno Santos, Reaches Verbal Agreements with Bellator

Bruno Santos (12-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC), an undefeated Brazilian prospect, has verbally agreed to a contract with Bellator Fighting Championships. MMAJunkie.com was the first to report that Santos and Bellator brass have agreed to terms and a contract is expected to be finalized shortly.
A date and opponent for Santos’ debut has yet to be announced.
A youngster at only 24-years-old, the Ze Mario Team fighter has impressively stayed undefeated in his first 12 professional contests.
Santos earned stoppage wins in three of his first four outings but his past eight victories have all come via decision. Santos is known as a ground-and-pound stylist despite his lack of a formal wrestling background. His stamina is also a huge part of his success as he has fought a few different times through 25-minutes bouts and once through a 35-minute fight.
Santos has been fighting at middleweight through his first twelve fights, but at only 5’9 he may eventually consider a drop to welterweight in the future. Stay posted to BJPenn.com for more updates and rumors regarding Santos’ debut and more Bellator news.
