Helwani Hits The Streets In Japan Looking For UFC Fans (Video)


UFC 144 is set to go down tonight live from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Frankie Edgar and challenger Benson Henderson. The event marks the UFC’s first ever return to Japan since UFC 29 in 2000.

    I like that the punk crowd and old business men are fans of MMA/UFC but the young crowd has no idea about any sort of current MMA.

    lol its funny how they know mma but not the ufc… really shows how the fanhood of mma in japan has fallen off since pride. UFC should have done more japan events to keep that fanbase. This should be a yearly thing for them to go to saitima. Whats even funnier is how the term UFC is more commonly known then MMA in the United states. Some people think that its called UFC and tell me ” oh my friend so and so does ufc fighting”
