In what is no doubt a reaction to all the recent PED talk in MMA, newly signed UFC middleweight Hector Lombard has took to twitter to announce his compliance with any and all drug testing in the lead up to his recently announced bout with Brian Stann.

Anyone laready in UFC is exempt from UFC policy of testing. They said they would only be testing newly signed fighters and TUF contestants. Anyone who has already been busted like Sonnen and Nate “THE CHEAT” should be tested monthly.
It wouldn’t be random if he knows about it.

One would have to be complete idiot to say test me randomly and pump himself with PEDs. In regards to Overeem, he was stupid for trusting in the doctor and Telligman, if you’ve followed Overeem in his career, you would know he wouldn’t play with fire like that. I’m sure he’s juiced in the past, and probably still does. But he was always smart about it, and never allowed himself to get caught. Most fighters take PEDs and are smart about not getting caught. Until you do something dumb, which really isn’t in their best interest, to much to lose. Lombard, maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t. But he’s definitely not that dumb to ask for random drug tests and keep shit in his system. Can you guess what I’m thinking now? lol

All state athletic commissions should do random screenings for fighters and just increase the costs of getting licensed for all fighters to cover the costs. I think all pro level fighting should be done Olympic style where they can collect blood samples at random before the fight. It wont happen, but it should because it’s not fair to the fighters who don’t juice to have to fight guys that do. I know that even this type of testing won’t catch everyone but I think there are way too many fighters getting away with juicing.
Couldn’t agree more. They don’t have to test all fighter just randoms during camps.
What even sucks worse than teh lack of testing in UFC is all the best steroids or should i say the more wealthy a fighter is the better PED’s he can obtain. There are so many PED’s availabe now that can beat any test out there and add to that they don’t test for HGH or EPO’s. Everyone knows Victor Conte is selling and making a fortune right now to MMA fighters all the ssame stuf he sold Barry Bonds and hundreds of other very wealthy althetes across the globe. However sounds like he does not want to go abck to Federal prison so he is supposly honoring conditions of his release-parole (no contact with anyone assoc with major league baseball PERIOD) Well we can all thank Kyle Kingsbury for bringing him into teh MMA world. These PED’s he sells can beat any test out there and he is an expert in all the latest greatest PED’s availabe in world. Gee i bet Kyle gets a pretty good deal on his goodies huh?
