Man whatever. I get sick of people complaining about their injuries after the fight that they lost. You lost because the other guy was better than you that night. Come back in a few months and try to win the next one. Simple as that.
no its not as simple as that.****in train with just a bruised rib and come at me again with that shit when you do.it changes your whole game period to the point where you cant sweep, turn the corner on a take down, or even follow through with a fully extended punch or even clinch.you dont pull out of your first fight to the big show.hes got a fighters mentality and he ent thorugh obviously thinking he could pull it off but its mma and shit happens.you know what im tired of hearing?****in keyboard warriors always running their mouths about fighters and their injuries for god sakes.you ****in guys jump at the first chance you get to slam a fighter for even answering a question when aksed about injury so they just stay quite these days and have to actually post proof to you Dbags as if youd have the slightest ****ing clue how hard it is to deal with.you quick to say oh you suck you suck yo got your ass kicked but when theres a legit reason you say oh no your making excuses.so heres what i suggest to the pussies that do this shit AKA CASUALS go ****ing train and when you get a legit injury and i guranty your ***** asses wont even train let alone fight at a top level fight.godamn i cant stand you new mainstream casual fans you should all go watch ****ing boxing and just stay off all mma forums
**** off hoe, by the way i like massive cocks. thank you!!!
Don’t worry Xaninho we know thats not you and its just some friggen LOSER using your username. MWILL, Fitch lover, wrestling rules are the ones that sign in under other peoples usernames. GROW UP you ****ing ***** faggots.
Those idiots come to this site because their IP addresses are BANNED from all the otehr MMA websites.
Seriously, MWILL, Fitch lover, wrestling rules should be banned Pedro! This site is turning into a joke because of punks like them.
Never once did I say the guy sucked. All I said was that he doesn’t need to blame the injury. If he was injuried as bad as he says then he shouldn’t have fought. People pull out of fights all the time. If I were a fighter who was making a promotional debut then I would want to be 100% and ready to kick ass so yea, I probably would have pulled out of the fight. Oh yea, Death to Casuals, anytime you want to “train” me then be my guest. I live in Knoxville, TN. I wasn’t hating on Hector’s skill or accomplishments but after that loss to Boetsch his aura was lost. He’s not the on that 25 unbeaten streak anymore. He’s a guy that’s 0-1 in the UFC.
“I live in Knoxville, TN”. Yeah that should be enough information for him to come and train with you.
Angry outbursts are a side effect of steroid use
lol….u said you hate keyboard warriors, yet you here talkin shit too..so that makes you a hypocritical keyboard warrior..
Just stfup! Dude you are a wannabe!
hey…stop with the negativity jackass. you prob suck more dick than train so stfu asscrack
anyone who thinks boetch deserved that win obviosuly is just a Lombard hater. LOmbard landed all the power shots and was teh aggressor teh entire fight. Boetch did absolutly NOTHING the entire fight. Boetch was given as big of GIFT as Bisping was given in the HAMILL fight
I’m not a Lombard fan, but he landed the more solid punches that sent TIm flying across the cage. Tim didn’t do anything and doesn’t deserve the win. Also I injured my sternum a few years ago and it hasn’t been right since. The injury has completely changed the way I breath and train, so yeah it’s possible this occurred to him and could have caused him to look like crap. We all noticed that he was standing in the middle of the ring.
Robby you obviously dont know anything about mma
Oh and you do yea? He is right, Tim tried to point and run… well he did. I thinks its because he felt Hectors power and then couldnt take him down. No wait, thats what time said… so I guess its fact, he was scared of Hector and you are the one that doesnt know shit about MMA.
you are absolutely right, robby knows nothing
Hacktor Bumbord
Agreed!!!!
fracture sternum, thats sounds ****ing brutal.
@DEATH TO CASUALS you ****ing tell them man. i cant stand guys who just assume fighters are making “excuses” and this and that. everyone watching lombard knew something was up with that flat style he was using. and i believe he still won. ive never trained professional, but a few months ago i was training on my heavy bag real hard. after the workout i took a shower then afterwards my rib on my right side was killing me. like i never went and got it checked out or anything, but the son of a bitch hurt for like 3 weeks straight. i dont know if i pulled something, bruised something, etc. but i remember pussying out the workouts for awhile because it hurt and effected me mentally and physically. throwing big hooks hurt, and throwing kicks was completely out of the question. lol. i can just imagine the real injuries these fighters get and still push through camp and goes into a fight hoping for the best. like i said im not a pro, but that small injury from training alone in my garage gave me a small perception on wat real fighters go through when they are hurt. if i broke my sternum i would imagine i would be rushed to the hospital and be bitching and moaning like a girl. mma fighters truly are the toughest mother ****ers in the world!!
It’s not about wether he was hurt or how it affected him. People just do t want to hear a guy come out after a loss and blame it on that. Guys get hurt and fight when they shouldn’t, it sucks but it’s part of the game. You can’t tell me that with a 24 fight win streak that he hasn’t won fights injured too. Much respect to him for going out there and doing the best he could. I’m not so much talking about him specifically but there are definitely guys that will come out and use that as an excuse.
read what he posted and tell me where he blamed the loss on that? he simply told his fans he was injured. its the title of the article that says he “pardons” his loss on the injury
He might have not said this is why I lost but anybody who reads the quote can get the connotative meaning behind it. I understand the difficulties training and competing with injuries but for me the bottom line is no one come in at 100% and if you want to say you’re fighting injured say it before the fight without revealing the nature of the injury. People that just talk about injuries long after the fight do sound like they are making up excuses. If you fought when you shouldn’t have then that’s bad decision making. I feel like I would be more disappointed as a fan to see a favourite fighter of mine fight injured, look lack luster and lose his position in the division that to just drop out due to injury. Just my opinion though.
I think he is clearly implying that his last performance was not good due to his injury. I do not see it any other way.
to my credit i do have a lil amateur boxing experience. i just dont have time to keep going to the gym, so i do wat i can in my garage with my boxing equipment.
I’m gay guys
such a loser
That’s ok we still love you…..
@fake Xaninho… In a different world, one where you cant hide someone gets your IP, tracks your little ass down. But, that could never happen.
I train and i fight for a living, yes he is making excuses.
WHAT A LITTLE BITCH!
Shut up fag. Hector would stomp you.
Injury excuse? I thought Tito retired.
Why wait til now to say this? The fight took place weeks ago.
if you get hurt 6 weeks before the fight. pull out of the fight because at that point they still have time to find a good replacement. Don’t put on a horrible performance and then try to excuse it.
Injuries hinder your ability to compete at your full potential. I was ranked second in the state in wrestling my senior year of hs and was coming off a national title. preseason i separated my ac joint in my shoulder, my elbow was screwed up, had a cracked rib and crushed knee cap. i wrestled through the whole season but my results fell short.
Wow, this is like a month after? HE still lost and won’t get a chance at Silva…Silva will probably retire before Lombard gets a chance at the title. All that muscle for nothin’!!
I know injuries happen all the time with fighters, but if you went in there knowing that you’re injured and you lost because of that injury, then you need to just keep quiet about it.
And maybe that’s what he was trying to do. Maybe he was trying to not say anything about his injuries but got fed up because of all the shit talkers. Who knows.
I think these coaches need to come up with something to train their fighters without giving them injuries. Injuries are too common in MMA
Maybe Lombard wanted to keep his mouth shut about his injuries but felt the need to explain why he lost because of all the shit talkers.
But I think these coaches need to come up with something to train their fighters without risking too much injuries.
people may like him or hate him, but fact of the matter is, you got injured and thought fighting anyways was gonna make the fans happy? then lost the fight, then wait almost a month later to say u were injured? thats just stupid. i’d say that about any fighter, whether i liked or hated them. if ur injured, get it taken care of before because incase you fighters didnt know, us fans want to see an awesome fight, not our fav fighter going through the motions and losing. we rather wait abit longer and see you guys fight healthy and with no excuses…with that being said…go back to bellator where you can beat people while injured..
CORRUPT JUDGES cleaned up with the 4 to 1 odds against Botech. These idiot judges scored that fight jst like taht idiot judge that had Guida winnning against maynard. something needs to be done with scoring and they need to get rid of all CORRUPT jusges like Cecil Peoples. Cecil was judge taht screwed over Hamill in Bisping fight and Doc mailton cecil partner in crime. These 2 judhes were also the ones who screwed Shogun in first Machida fight. How can someone back peddle teh entire fighta nd land no punches whasoever and get awarded a win. Botech was a disgrace in that fight.
and injury or not lombard WON that fight. only thing i can recall boetsch doing is dancing around the cage like a retard and landing leg kicks. lombard landed a lot of bombs on boetsch and controlled the majority of the fight with just his hands. i remember hearing the decision and becoming pissed off. the worst part is i dont even care for lombard or boestch, but it was clear who the real winner was. dat shit was a pure robbery. boestch leg kicks looked good, but other then that everything else he tried to attempt looked ****ing horrible. shit, if i remember correctly lombard also outwrestled him as well. cant remember to well, seen the fight only once when i was drinking.
its not like he has gone out and got a press conference together to explain that he was injured. all he did was send a facebook message to his fans explaining why he fought completely different to any of his other fights…… it makes sense that he really was injured because the Lombard that fought Boetsch was not the Hector Lombard that fought in Bellator.
I teach kicks.
@steven yea i think its safe to say EVERYONE watching that fight was like “wtf is up with lombard?” lol
War Hector
That might be why he didn’t bring what he normally brings. He shouldn’t have fought with an injury like that.
i agree with death to casuals. i train nine times a week, which is more then most people, and since i started picking up the extra training iv noticed it is more likly to get injured, and even the smallest injuries can **** you up with your training for a fair while. Then there ar the pros who train all day almost every day of the week, of course there is a higher chance of these athletes gettig injured, because they are training at a much higher level and on average are training alot more, they do 6 hours a day at times, otheres would be extremely lucky to do this in a week. and of course they are not going to just putt out of there fights, there not like amateurs fighting for $100, there fighting for large amounts of cash win or lose.
That’s cool he was injuried but IMO he’s just too small for top tier 85rs.
Despite the injury imo Hector won the fight. Tim looked like a back peddler in this fight. whatever, heal up and come back strong.
excuses excuses…. stop cryin bitch… and this chump wanted to fight silva…lmao
Stfu keyboard warrior
@T.Diddy, dont agree about the excuses. He did seem different, but yea you are right he is way too small for 185.
@Thom…. Saying “stfu keyboard warrior” is being just that?
If he genuinely had a broken sternum and torn rib cartilage, I would accept that as a fair excuse. I tried to play rugby with torn cartilage and a fractured sternum after 3 weeks of resting and ice treatment and it was 5 minutes of pain after my first contact and agony for months after I tackled someone. Not something you want to try and play with that is for sure. Took me over a year before it finally cleared properly. If it was anything like mine, he would be crazy to take to the cage for at least 3 months with proper treatment.
