Hector Lombard: ‘I’d love to face Silva, but know I have to earn it’ | UFC NEWS

“I would love to face him (Anderson Silva) one day, but to fight with Anderson Silva is not enough just to want. I have to earn it, and I have not yet earned it. So not worth talking about it.”
In an interview with Brazilian Media outlet SportTV top UFC middleweight fighter, Hector Lombard, touched on a potential showdown with division king, Anderson Silva.
Lombard made good on his second fight with the UFC, taking out Rousimar Palhares in the first round via TKO. However, in his debut, he suffered defeat at the hands of Tim Boetsch which set the hopes of a quick title shot far off in the distance.

^^ Hehe, yeah I like Lombard’s approach, realistic and rather humble. I’d love to see Lombard vs. Belfort for a title eliminator match. Def. fireworks.
