Heads Up San Jose | “Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier” Tickets On Sale Next Week

After more than a year in the making, the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix finals is set for May 19 and will feature tournament finalists Josh Barnett and Daniel Cormier.
“Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier” is set to go down from San Jose’s HP Pavilion on May 19.
Also expected on the card is a welterweight contest between Tyron Woodley and Nate Marquardt for the Strikeforce vacant title and a possible lightweight title fight between Gilbert Melendez and a yet to be determined opponent.
Tickets for the event are set to go on sale to the general public next Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m. PT.
UFC Fight Club subscribers can get in on the pre-sale action the day prior, Thursday, April 5, at 10 a.m. PT and “Strikeforce Insider” newsletter subscribers can join them just two hours later at noon PT.

I’ll be watching! I wonder if Barnett will make his way to the UFC after this final HW fight in Strikeforce. I believe he’s been busted for steroids in the UFC before and they now test for that before you can even get a contract.
Zuffa have said that the winner will be having 1 more fight in Strikeforce after this so it looks like Josh will be hanging around for at least one more after he beats Comier .
