Dan Hardy Would Love To Fight And Trade Punches With Nick Diaz (Video)

“I think he’s an entertaining fighter, I enjoyed his fight (against Carlos Condit). Personally, I thought he won it as well. It’s a shame some people are gonna look down on him because of that (failed) drug test. I would love to fight him, I’m a huge fan of his. He’s a very entertaining guy and he comes to fight. Nobody really does that anymore and I respect that. By all means I would trade some punches with him.”

First Hughes, and now Diaz?! C’mon, Hardy! Stay in your lane before you catch another loss! Your biggest weakness is your ground game, yet you’re calling out top level grapplers? I don’t get it

  2. says:

That would be a sick fight!

  3. m says:

It really would be a good fight, but Hardy is not in the mix. Dude isn’t even a top 10 WW anymore.

    Diaz would submit him.

    • Ly-er says:

“He would trade some punches with him”, really? But I’m sure he’ll shoot for a take down in the last minute of the fight once he’s frustrated & outclassed on the feet! I don’t think hes even top 20, he shud seriously just win a fight already before having such high-expectations!!

    • Chris says:

He shouldn’t even be in the UFC after 4 straight losses.

  4. k says:

    dan hardy, tsk, tsk, tsk.

  5. Jay says:

He couldn’t even hang with lytle what makes him think he can trade with Diaz?? I love hardy but get some W’s before talking shit.

  6. Jujitsu Player says:

Haha this is a joke Diaz would obliterate him in the stand up and if it went to the ground he would sub him. Hardy not even near the top 10 WW these days. He should be grateful just to still be in the UFC keep his head down fight whoever they put in front of him and try and get a run together…

    • Akid says:

Clearly he was just asked if he would like to fight him… What’s he supposed to do as a fighter besides say yes i’d like to fight him (respectfully) as he did… ‘ Fight Nick Diaz? Nah, i’d get my ass handed to me! No thanks, don’t want that fight at all…’

  7. the original steve says:

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH. yeah go for it dan. he will work you down and make ur face look like mush

  8. Spades says:

Hardy needs a win bad. He should worrie about that before calling someone out.

  9. Luke says:

The amount of morons commenting here is astronomical. Hardy never called Diaz out, bet half the people here didnt watch the video.. they just read the title. Dickheads.

  10. toneloc24 says:

It surprises me every time I read the comments on this site how many negative morons there are. He was asked a question regarding if he would be interested in a fight with Diaz and he gave his answer. Its possible he knows that Diaz would work him over but he’s a fighter and a real warrior so he would take the fight anyway. Y’all are a bunch of hating ass lil bitches

  11. zetoe666 says:

dan hardy is a real fighter. i’d love to see diaz vs hardy, i think it would be exciting as hell. Diaz obviously would destroy him, but it would be great to watch.

  12. Azuzsa says:

    Diaz would reconstruct his face!

  13. Conor says:

how about concentrating on “bang” first and getting off your losing streak before considering other bouts

  14. BobbyLemons says:

He’s in the UFC because of his game attitude, Hardy always comes to bang. He entered the UFC on a streak which led him to a title shot, which was the first of the four losses. He was clearly outwrestled, but he took GSP five rounds and showed grit. He then fought the Condit (who is now the interim champ) and traded punches in the way every true mma fan loves to see. Unfortunely for Hardy, Condit had the tighter hook and put him out. Then Hardy had the misfortune of meeting Johnson the weightcutting freak who sat on him for 3 rounds, despite this, Hardy tried to fight at every opportunity but just couldn’t avoid being sat on. Then came Lytle, another awesome fight, which he lost by getting sloppy while aggresively trying to finish.

I think Hardy should be able to have 10 losses if he keeps fighting the way he does.

Fuck wins and losses, keep the guys who try at every opportunity to finish a fight.

  15. A.James says:

I remember the last time he traded hands with someone in the octagon. Let’s just say it didn’t go well for him.
