Happy With Retirement Says Fedor Emelianenko | MMA NEWS
I am still training, but I am not training for a fight… Recently I went to Greece on vacation with my family and had a great time. Retirement is very enjoyable and I am content with my life… No I do not miss the ring (laughs)… I still planned to be involved in sport and hopefully I can coach and teach the next generation of sportsman.”
In an interview with MFight, “The Last Emperor”, Fedor Emelianenko discussed his happiness with hanging his gloves up for good.

had a great run in pride but will always be remembered as the guy that DUCKED the best comp, and the guy that was scared to fight in the UFC aka. Truly wasn’t. People need to stop lying to themselves and accept that he wasn’t the best. He was a good fighter, great maybe, but best never Had chances to prove it but if he really wanted to he could have left M-1 or could have told M-1 to STFU and make the fight happen. Let the chance to prove he was the best pass by and it was more then once I believe. Not even going to get into his career.

He was good but most of the fighters he defeated in that streak were sub par at best. When they started giving him good competition the steak ended. Then he left in search of weak competition again to boost his ego. If the guy was that great he would have wanted to fight the UFC guys but instead he avoided that competition for bullshit reasons. i doubt that M1 was ever able to pay him what Dana would have offerred. G.O.A.T? I think not. Most overrated fighter of all time!

The Fedor vs Henderson was fought at Heavy Weight. It was originally supposed to be a catch weight fight at 220. Hendo weighed in at 207 and Fedor weighed in at 223.
the only real reason why Dana avoided bringing him into the UFC was because of all the reasons that he told the media was in fact the opposite.
Dana likes to market his fighters as products of the UFC. Fedor not only fights in the cage he fights in competitions in all the disciplines that he trains in which Dana doesn’t want.

He’s had a lot of great fights.i don’t think he’s the best….he is one of the best.his fight with Cro cop was one of the best heavyweight fights I’ve seen.i mean he destroyed arlovski,hunt,big daddy,Silvia,and coleman.his fight with big nog was awesome.but I still think he never really peaked cause he never fought in the UFC or fought top notch competition all the time.he is still a legend.
Fedor did not drop to 205 to fight Hendo u idiot , capindathoe93. It was a heavyweight bout. Hendo weighed in at 207. Fedor was around 230.
Fedor is NOT the GOAT. He wouldn’t even be top 5 right now in the UFC heavyweight division. He is one of the best ever, but defenitely not #1. His last 3 fights he fought a nobody and two has beens to pad his record before he retired.
