Hallman Books Lightweight Bout With John Makdessi

Former welterweight fighter, Dennis Hallman, has made good on his promise to drop a weight class and will now face John Makdessi on the UFC’s Dec 10 fight card.
UFC 140 is set to take place in Toronto on December 10 from the Air Canada Centre. The only main card bouts confirmed for the event at this time is set between Rory MacDonald vs. Brian Ebersole and now Frank Mir vs. “Big Nog”.
Hallman made headlines in his most recent outing against Brian Ebersole with his “Speedo” type fight shorts. It was a move that infuriated UFC boss Dana White and some say Hallman is lucky to still hold a spot on the stacked UFC roster. The bout was a loss for the long-time MMA veteran and it was his second in a string of second in his last eight bouts.
Makdessi will be the hometown guy in this bout for the third time in his UFC career. He is currently undefeated in his UFC outings and looks to keep that streak alive against Hallman.
This bout is likely set for the preliminary portion of the evening’s card.
