Gunnar Nelson vs Mike Pyle Announced For UFC 160 | UFC NEWS

The latest addition to the May 25th UFC 160 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is a welterweight matchup between Iceland’s Gunnar Nelson and UFC veteran Mike Pyle. The news was first reported by MMAJunkie.com, but UFC executives have yet to formally announce the contest.
Gunnar Nelson will make a quick turnaround after besting another MMA veteran, Jorge Santiago, earlier in February. Nelson is looking to extend his 11 fight win streak against Mike Pyle, who is an impressive 6-1 in his last seven fights. This will be an excellent test for Nelson, who is a bright prospect in the eyes of many. A win over Pyle will further his climb up the highly competitive welterweight rankings.
