GSP’s Sister Nixes Sick Father Rumors
Contrary to TMZ’s report, Georges “Rush” St. Pierre’s “personal problems” do not consist of an ailing father.
St. Pierre’s sister, Myriam St. Pierre, reported to Quebec newspaper La Presse that “My father is doing very well. We get lots of calls and this rumor has to stop. It [is causing us] pain. My father [watches] my children. He would not [watch] them if he was about to die. I do not know where this rumor came from, but this is wrong.”
St. Pierre abruptly talked about retirement because of personal problems after his controversial split-decision win over Johny Hendricks, and TMZ was quickly on the prowl for any gossip that may pertain to St. Pierre’s decision to step away from the sport, and may have reported their information before confirming their sources.
Myriam St. Pierre declined to comment on the other rumor that TMZ reported, that the UFC welterweight champion had impregnated a woman, which neither confirms or denies the possibility of whether or not there is any truth in the TMZ report.
Only time will tell whether or not TMZ was accurate in their reporting on St. Pierre causing a pregnancy, and he is remaining tight-lipped so far. What we do know is if TMZ is completely wrong in their report, they most certainly owe an apology to St. Pierre and his family.
