“There are a lot of people who want to make money on pay-per-view. But only a few fighters who can do it. So the quickest way to try to get one of those fights is to try to call out one of those fighters who can make money. It’s a way to try to cut the line. I’ve got a fight against Nick Diaz coming up next week and that’s what I’m thinking about right now. After that, there are other welterweight contenders on the way. Ben Henderson isn’t a fight I’m thinking about right now.”
Recently UFC lightweight champion, Benson Henderson, came out and said he wouldn’t mind a fight with GSP. To that GSP, took to mmafighting.com to respond with the above referenced quote.

GSP will make Ben Henderson look like an amateur
Let Benson Henderson defend the LW title a few times first. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind a fight with GSP, but he doesn’t deserve a fight with GSP when he has challengers lining up to fight him. If he defends successfully a few times, or drops the title, and works his way up the WW ladder to fight GSP, then I wouldn’t mind seeing it at all. But to simply call out GSP when he’s only defended the title twice is getting too ahead of yourself.
