Oh and just in case, I threw up an attachment of the flyer. Also forgot to mention that this seminar is open for those individuals interested, no matter what school/academy you are from.

Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been logging on as much as I used to.

The seminar was awesome. Now mind you, the only seminars I've ever been to were Judo seminars back in the 90s and one in 2000. So I am very green when it comes to BJJ seminars. But what made the seminar awesome, to me, was the atmosphere:

-I got to meet many of my Gracie Barra brothers who attend classes I normally do not attend (weekend as well as evening classes to be precise). It reminded me of the Hawaii MMA Expo where I was saying "hi" and introducing myself to a lot of people sporting our team shirt. I didn't know a lot of people that are a part of the Academy. It was awesome and it blew me away.

-It was the official blessing of Gracie Barra Honolulu by Professor Flavio Almeida.

-Learned some good, simple, ideas for my BJJ that was comfortable for me.

-An evening most of us wish would never end as we had a potluck spread of most of our favorite foods there, the drinks, and the ohana present till the wee hrs of the morning.

But reality set in and it had to end...until the next Gracie Barra Ohana gathering.
