BJ is the man, in my opinion the greatest pound 4 pound fighter
ever, right up there with fedor and wand and Anderson silva.
Bj just makes mma look good, represents hawaii to the fullest and stays true to the roots, Island roots and jiu jitsu, keeps island vibes with reggae tunes in the videos, nuff respect
bob marley, steel pulse barrington levy, Bj penn is a legend like bob marley from Hilo Hawaii in the Fighting category, remembered like ali in his prime, Real recognize real, legends always shine, Bj penn the greatest pound 4 pound of our time.

Besides being the best in the world, Bj has never forgotten his roots as a super human being. He's always willing to share himself with others. I don't think that there is anyone else that I know of, at the top of this sport, whose willing to show so much of himself as BJ does. Being true to ones self and true to others is what, I think, makes him a great champion!!!!

i have said it before and i will say it again, BJ has had his ups and downs but he admits when he has fallen short and that is rare. His techniques is legendary and I think he has helped make 155 the most poular weight class and well as helping people outside of MMA see that size doesnt matter. His flexibilty is something I think most fighters overlook yet is key to his success. You can even see Bj's style in Faber (obviously they train together) both do things in the moment in a fight that you just can't train someone. I think BJ has also shown people inside and outside of the industry the the mind plays the biggest role. BJ never looks worried or scared yet he doesnt need to prove he is not scared with a big mouth or larger than life personality.

I think mant people including some of BJ's fans have been expecting him to lose and disappear yet he always comes back stronger.

Aside from skill BJ has fans that respect him and any athlete would envy that...

BJ continue to be a warrior and a great example in and out of the ring.

Bj has beaten the best of the best. He is an outstanding striker, has an amazing ground game, and it probably the most focused fighter out there. He is totally immersed in his art. Plus, he loves poi =) He is a true champion.

If you look at who he has beaten. Also he is the most explosive fighter now its crazy, he can push and push and dont forget knock your ass out with a straight punch or a hook, even a job if he catches you right. His Jiu-Jitsu it world class, possibly still the best in the world at his weight, His wrestling is relentless, and his cardio is great, to top it all off he has a jaw of solid steel. The best 155 fighter ever known now and for a very long time
