Greg Jackson Refused And Will Not Ever Watch GSP vs. Condit Bout | UFC NEWS

“It was just a little too personal for me. I love both of those guys and it is just business and they did what they had to do, but for me, it was kind of a personal thing and it’s not something I enjoy. So, I hung out with the family and didn’t participate. A few people were asking me and I said no, it wasn’t like I was dying for play-by-play or anything like that. I got updates after it was done and everybody let me know it was good and everybody was okay and that was my main concern. Everybody was fine and it’s time to move on, I guess.”

“Nah, I don’t think so. There might be (advantages in seeing the fight) but, I know Carlos so well, I know his style so well that I probably won’t need to see the fight just because it’s already in the noggin.”

Talking to mmafighting.com, famed coach, Greg Jackson told “The MMA Hour” that he will not watch his two students compete in the cage.

  1. GET RID OF FITCH (forever) says:

Sorry Greg probably for the best you don’t watch anyway because they BOTH defied you r orders to run away from each other for 25 minutes

  2. GET RID OF FITCH (forever) says:

You just can’t handle the truth you stupid idiot piece of shit. You are the biggest bottom feeder pile of shit i have ever come across. you are incapable of adding anything intellegent yourself so you TROLL everyone else posts. You are a perfect example of someone who is a total waste of oxygen. By the way I forgot more about MMA in the last 20 minutes than you could possibly learn in 10 lifetimes.

  3. Xaninho says:

Why is this Gag jackson even talking? Condit is his boy, always been there at his gym and GSP has always been a Tristar fighter who happens to train a bit at high altitude at Jackson’s gym. GSP has never been HIS fighter.

I think he desperately wants to attach the name Jackson to GSP’s success and in the process he lets down one of his own.

  4. Leo says:

Greg is obviously a knowledgable man and I imagine he is also a great trainer but he is not a great manager nor is he a master tactictian.

In fact I believe he is playing ‘the family guy’ in this instance due to the contreversy of Jones and Evans.

Not watching the fight shows he’s more concerned about public and camp perception than furthering his knowledge of his fighters and mma which implies to me he’s a massive egotistical tool… just my thoughts.

  5. David says:

so you cant watch carlos vs gsp even though gsp mostly trains at tri star and not with you, but you could corner jon jones vs rashad who both were training with you exclusively? Your a piece of shit. You dont deserve to have a gym with the shit youve done

  6. Alan says:

    American sports fans are funny.

First of all you’ve got to be this huge extrovert, and not come across as intelligent in any way, or you’ll get booed.

Second, although you’ve got to have high self esteem (or you’ll get booed), you’re not allowed to come across like you have a big ego, you have to pretend you’re totally humble (or you’ll get booed). But don’t make it TOO obvious that you’re only pretending to be humble. Or you’ll get booed.

Pretty much, eventually everyone just gets booed.
