Gray Maynard To Undergo Knee Surgery | UFC NEWS
According a report by MMAWeekly, UFC lightweight Gray Maynard will need to undergo knee surgery after suffering an injury while training at the American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose. Maynard was to meet Joe Lauzon at UFC 155 this December, but will instead be going under the knife next week. The recovery time is only expected to be 3-5 weeks before he’ll be able to resume training, so Maynard will be looking to return sometime in 2013.
