.gif | Jon Jones Can’t Jump (really at all)

One thing is certain. Jon Jones is one of the most talented athletes on the planet. Coming from a family with two other professional football as brothers, Jones was always primed for athletic prowess.

Apparently, even with all of his talent, the 6″4′ Jones can’t dunk.

Now, with this new valuable information, how will this affect his chances when he faces Glover Teixeira, a match set for UFC 172?

Great, now show me Lebron in the guard position using mission control to transition into an umaplata and then get the back of an opponent then finishing with a twister. Finally when he fails to do it, explain how this makes him a better or worst basketball player.

    • Ricky Reed says:

As much as the sequence of events you just described might give you a raging hard-on, the last I recall, Jones wasn’t using mission control to transition into an umaplata, gaining back control, and finishing with a twister, either.

      Damnit, right?

    • ijsdfj says:

Yea because the well defined skill of a mma fighter is the same as a basic test of athleticism…jumping higher than 8 inches on a 2 step vertical jump

  2. logan says:

The vertical jump is one of the best indicators of athleticism. Wonder if this is real… Jon Jones is very athletic. Then again I suppose jumping is just one type of explosive movement and can be made up for in other areas

You ought to read what you write before you post it. You leave in grammatical errors I would have noticed in my 8th grade book report. It happens every time. It’s not that hard to write a paragraph or 2 and not fuck it up.

    • Chris says:

The amount of typos on this blog is staggering. It’s constant and in almost every article I read. It’s frikken mind blowing that these aren’t proof read when they are all of 2 or 3 paragraphs long.

      • Michael Johnston says:

I’m absolutely convinced that most of the journalists writing for BJ are student interns. There is probably no money exchanged at all.

    • Junior Lmfaoz says:

It’s “two” and not “2”. Learned that in 3rd grade.

  4. Kyle Holroyd says:

Oh god.. Glover is going to win by three pointer now.

  5. HoneyTree EvilEye says:

What makes Jones such an amazing athlete? Fighting does not make him a superior athlete. It means he’s fit and trained. He’s a chicken leg bitch. And just because you’re black doesn’t mean you’re athletic, athletes come from every ethnicity. This is some funny ignorant shit, I love it.

  6. fuckndumbasses says:

dumb one step… hard for anyone to do other than a 7 footer.

  7. Ed Kania says:

He did a nice shoulder roll/stop block to block the ball hitting him though..
