Get Ready for a “Rumble”, according to Johnson, he’s better than Vitor

“I feel just fine about the matchup. He can’t do nothing that I can’t do. Anything he thinks he can do, I think I can do better. I think it’s a pretty even matchup. He’s fast, I’m fast. He’s powerful, I’m powerful. It’s going to be a fight that really determines who’s the man at the end of the day. Either one of us can get dropped, so it’s going to see who has the most heart. … All I know is I’m going to win.”

Anthony Johnson tells that he thinks he is better at every aspect of MMA when comparing his skills to that of his UFC 142 opponent, Vitor Belfort.

Having only fought in the UFC’s welterweight division, Johnson is not only taking a step up in weight, but also a step up in competition as Vitor is known as one of the best in the business.

Will “Rumble” be able to halt the progress of his Brazilian opponent and make a case for contender status with one outing in the UFC’s middleweight division, or will Belfort show why he is a top 10 adversary come fight night?

  1. Rafi Bomb, homie says:

He thinks he has better bjj than Vitor? Check his piss. Homie MUST be high.

  2. Digs says:

Vitor’s striking is a whole level above rumbles. But i’d rather see the young buck put a left hook on Vitor’s chin.

  3. steve says:

already know he’s not gonna stand up with’s gonna be takedown after takedown..just like he did with hardy..

  4. Brandon says:

Rumble will just gonna be too big and too strong for Vitor to handle.
So I’d say Rumble by 15 min steroid gorilla fuck AKA Dan Hardy Soap Drop RAPE Part II.

  5. The Beast says:

lol johnson is funny he was no good at welter and he thinks he can jump up and win this fight not a chance with vitor eying a rematch for the belt belfort by ko first round

  6. Ninja Oreo Dollop says:

He’s crazy if he thinks he is a better fighter in every way. He’s just setting up another upset from older, more established fighters. Let’s see… Tito beat Bader, Nogueira beat Shaub, Kongo beat Mitrione. All fighters who were supposed to lose.

  7. MFbrian88 says:

Knee to da face when Rumble tries to take Vitor down

  8. josh says:

Vitor gets stomped. And come on Pedro, didnt rumble fight Clementi at 155?

  9. Jmad says:

Glad he’s confident, he’s got some big cojones steppin up to Vitor. I really hope he doesn’t fight him like he did Hardy.

  10. adrian says:

Both are fast, but Vitor has better accuracy. Vitor wins this unless Anthony humps him to a decision

  11. James Christopher says:

Once he gets KOd he’s going to be, Anthony “Crumble” Johnson.. see what I did there… ahahah

    • Elliot says:

Guys, listen. First of this fight will most likely come to who gets off first, and those of you who believe Vitor is way to big, remember, johnson cuts weight from around 210 and is hard as granite at 170, what do you think he is going to be like at 185; much easier weight transition for him. He will have more power with his explosive kicks which vitor will be vulnerable to, and remember this as well, johnson’s wrestling is well being vitor’s and with his transitions and striking from on top, it will negate vitor’s BJJ, which is world class I will give you that, but not compared to johnson’s wrestling. Now im not saying Johnson is the winner but the odds would be for him unless he is not smart and stands in the pocket with belfort. His body and head kicks will create space and give him the reach advantage. So johnson has the better odds in this fight, if I would bet I would say 2nd round TKO for johnson strikes from top position.

    He’s gonna get smashed

  13. BJ Penny Arcade says:

eh… this fight is pretty exciting but i think it would have been better for the welterweight division if it was CONDIT vs RUMBLE for the title.
