George Roop vs. Dustin Kimura added to The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale Card
On Thursday night, UFC officials announced a new match-up for The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale card set for April 16th. George Roop will be facing Dustin Kimura in a bantamweight showdown.
Roop’s last fight was at UFC Fight For The Troops 3 on November 6th, where he is coming off of a TKO loss to Francisco Rivera Before that loss, he had two back-to-back wins after a recent move back to bantamweight after fighting for almost three years at 145lbs.
Kimura made his UFC debut just a little over a year ago at UFC 156 (February 2, 2013) and won with a rear-naked choke against Chico Camus in the third round. His next bout in November would earn him the first loss of his career with Mitch Gagnon cranking him into a guillotine choke in the first round. Since then, he’s won his last fight at UFC Fight Night 34 against Jon Delos Reyes with an armbar in the first round.
These two are expected to be a part of an exiting card taking place at the olisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebeck, Canada. Already on the card is the anticipated return of Michael Bisping, going against Time Kennedy, as well as The Ultimate Fighter coaches Patrick Cote vs. Kyle Noke as the co-main event.
