Gegard Mousasi Expected To Return For December Strikeforce Event

Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Gegard Mousasi is staying busy both stateside and internationally, as he’s being targeted for a December return to the Strikeforce cage. The news was confirmed by a source to MMAJunkie.com earlier today.
Gegard Mousasi last competed for Strikeforce in April where he fought to a majority draw against UFC veteran Keith Jardine. Jardine had stepped in on short notice for the injured Mike Kyle in a bout that was expected to decide who the number one contender for the Strikeforce light heavyweight title would be. The majority draw was the result of an illegal upkick in the first round, as Mousasi was winning the fight on the judges scorecards prior to the point deduction.
No opponent, date or location has been named for the December 17th Strikeforce event, but without a doubt Mousasi will be looking to continue his win streak, as he’s already rebounded with a TKO victory over Hiroshi Izumi at the Dream event this past July.

He flat out doesn’t have the wrestling to deal with the top guys. He should stay in SF, where he can still fight internationally and have a great record.
He wouldn’t get into the top 5 in the UFC, not a hater, just a realist.
War ..the Mous!
it looks like it will prolly be for the vacant title at LHW maybe the winner to the mo vs roger fight.
