Look at how blatantly Anderson cheats and grabs the shorts of chael sonnen and creates space as he is punching him. Anderson is such a **** sucking cheater. ****ing Brazilian monkey hooligan he is a paper champ Anderson knew Chael would win so he resorted in cheating. But over all a guy like Bisping will never beat Anderson Bisping is a stylistically better match-up for Anderson. Bisping is good at running around and out pointing people Anderson showed he is good at doing that also in the Maia fight. Anderson beats Bisping TKO 2nd round.
I know right? That ****in cheater, he should be more like Chael and elevate his testosterone unnaturally, be blatantly racist to an entire country of people, and help embezzle some cash on his off days. And it’s so unfair how Anderson grabbed his shorts for 3 seconds, that totally won him the fight. Not the 2 other takedown attempts that failed when Anderson didn’t grab his shorts, or silvas perfectly placed knee and right hand that dropped Chael, or that sweet spinning back fist, or the unanswered punches on the ground. Yeah, I hate that paper champ, anybody could become champion and go 15-0 against the best in the world, I wonder why chael hasn’t?

It looked illegal when it happened, I even thought it might have been when I first saw it.But the replay makes it plain as day that it wasn’t illegal.
ill defend bisping on this one and say that he didnt see the replay he was doing an interview immediately after the fight and alot of people thought that was illegal till the replay showed it wasnt

The UFC picked and chose Bispings opponents very carefully since he was KO’d by Hendo.

Bisping is the biggest TOOL in MMA and one of the most overrated fighters ever. How can Bisping be ranked in top 10 and he has never beaten a top 10 fighter. Bisping was given the biggets “GIFT” ever in that CORRUPT decision in the Matt hamill fight where it was a complete one sided BLOWOUT by Hamill. hamill beat the hell out of Bisping at his own game and bloodyed up Bisping face freal bad and had him on the run ythe entire fight while Hamill stalked him down beating on him at will and taking him down at least 6 times.

The main thing I hated about this fight, was Anderson rubbing vaseline all over his body pre-fight and grabbing his shorts. I don’t care if it made a difference in the outcome, it’s just pretty shitty seeing one of your sporting idols blatantly trying to cheat.
ok im so tired of this getting out of control. the “vaseline” that he had was for his eye that medics put on them at the start of the fight. the medic didnt rub it in good it was not even enough to make a big difference. it didnt effect the fight. and every UFC fighter has grabbed his opponent’s shorts. it happens as a Fighter myself it will happen.

to everyone making excuses why Anderson won and Chael failed again… bottom line:
ANDERSON SILVA WON AND IS STILL THE CHAMPION.
doesn’t matter what you say, what excuses you wanna make, what “expert” analysis you wanna create… he won. he stopped chael.
1) the vaseline was whipped off… obviously didn’t help b/c he was still taken down and mounted.
2) grabbing shorts didn’t drop chael
– shouldn’t be a problem for a “gangster” anyway
3) the knee was to the body, no arguing that. period.
there goes all the excuses out the window.
all you chael lovers claiming he’s the best… he mounted Anderson. did nothing with it. probably the most dominant position you could have over an opponent and caused no damage. a full mount. if chael was the greatest of all time, then surely he would’ve been able to capitalize while in the most dominant position.

Actually, Anderson held Chael’s shorts for about 18 seconds. It did help and prevent Chael from initiating two takedowns. It’s hard to see with the changing of camera angles and body positions, but if you play close attention you can see it. Also, Chael needs to be on TRT legitimately. He has one testicle and a lack of any testosterone in his body, and there can be difficulties from his condition that can kill him. Also, stop hating on Rousey for screaming that it was an illegal knee. Everyone thought it was an illegal knee at the time as we watched it live. It was only later when we saw the live replay that we all knew it was actually a very legal knee to the diaphragm. That’s just how good Anderson’s accuracy is. Both of these men are amazing fighters and Chael proved he was no fluke, but Anderson showed us what it means to fight back uninjured this time and they were on equal footing. Anderson’s takedown defense for a bit was actually quite good, but the holding of the shorts helped him quite a bit. After that, Chael just made a horrible, horrible mistake that I’m sure he will never forget, and Anderson did what he did best, use accuracy and destroy. During the fight, there were many unfortunate events for just two rounds, but in the end, Anderson is the champ. Chael turtled up instead of putting up a decent defense and it cost him.
