Free Fight Video | Eddie Alvarez Impresses In Final Bellator Bout With Headkick KO | MMA NEWS

Former Bellator lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez, put an exclamation point on his time with the Bellator promotion last night when he stepped inside the cage on his final contracted bout against Patricky “Pitbull” Freire.
It took the top lightweight a little bit of time, but he was able to hit the mark with a right high-kick to the face that put his opponent down and left him unconscious.
Eddie Alvarez is now one of the most sot after free agents in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and we all expect him to head to the UFC as soon as terms can be reached.

Good fight, nice kick. I don’t think Alvarez would be much of a factor in ufc title picture but definatly deserves to be in ufc.
I think he should be in the UFC, too. He’s fast, quick footed, a dynamic striker, and not a single one of his fights has been boring (win or lose). It would be good to see what he has in the submissions and takedowns department, and getting into the UFC would most definitely force him to use those skills.
Even is his Title loss to Chandler, he still showed great poise and heart. Though Chandler took the title from Eddie, Chandler did not get it from him easily. That took a lot of work.
I really wanna see Eddie in the UFC. With everything he’s done for Bellator, he definitely deserves to be in there.
