FOX Sports 1 Picked Up By Every Major Distributor
Despite some last-minute negotiations between FOX and various television distributors, the network’s new sports station will be available to approximately 90 million homes. FOX announced that every major distributor has picked up the new station; something fight fans can all celebrate as the UFC will help debut the network with UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen this Saturday night.

Any fan looking to enjoy this Saturday’s “UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen” will be able to, thanks to the successful negotiations of FOX Network and every major television distributor.
Despite last-minute uncertainties, FOX Sports 1, FOX Network’s newest all-sports station, will be picked up by all major distributors, giving approximately 90 million home viewers access to Saturday night’s fights.
FOX Networks President of Distribution, Mike Hopkins, issued a statement saying, “We are thrilled that virtually all pay-television customers across America will have access to FOX Sports 1. This network launch is a major milestone for FOX and will alter the sports television landscape. We are grateful to our distribution partners for making this all possible.”

UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen will take place this Saturday at Boston’s TD Garden. It is easily one of the most stacked television cards the UFC has put on, featuring a headline fight between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Chael Sonnen. Other fights on the card include Alistair Overeem vs. Travis Browne, Urijah Faber vs. Iuri Alcantara, Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Johnson, and more. The television broadcast begins at 3pm/6pm PT/ET this Saturday. Preliminary bouts will air on Facebook beginning at 1pm/4pm PT/ET.
