BJ's top game and control is unbelievable, not to mention he has the best take down defense! He has the best striking and power in both hands. I never seen BJ get KO's by a punch or kick, ever no mater how big and strong the opponent are.

I am tired of people talking about Kenny Florian's Mu thai and elbows. What about BJ's elbows like he did to Joe Stevenson.

BJ is looking good and in Championship form. Beware Kenflo, be very afraid!

A Focused and Cardio trained in shape BJ + HEART of a Champion=UNBEATABLE!!! BJ needs to just keep it simple and do what he does best, because Kenflo needs to BRING IT even more ...TO BE THE CHAMP YOU NEED TO BEAT THE CHAMP!!!

I follow BJ cause he's a Hilo boy, and when you move away from Hawaii like me and my family you find things in every aspect of life that make you proud to be Hawaiian. BJ comes out to Hawai'i 78 by braddah Iz, nuf sid.

I have taken alot of crap from my friends that are huge GSP fans for the past few months and I am excited to watch BJ put the beatdown on Kenflo, and then probably get a huge fight with Diego,

As everyone in Hawai'i knows BJ just go in and say WHAT????!!!! Give um a kanak beatdown!!

My first Penn fight I saw was his 11 second beating of Uno, BJ came out like caged animal hungry for pray, he was instantly my favorite fighter. And outside the cage he seems so laid back and chill like one of the boyz. BJ you the reason are why I watch MMA, Stay Hungry !!

because i can relate to his upbringing, his lifestyle, and his mentality, also he beats the shit out of everyone. Im a florida boy who grew up on a island, surfing, swimming, boating,(waterman for life) beachcruizers, good food, having fun, fighting, bjj.

i project myself onto him when he fights and as soon as the lights go down and i hear IZ come in i get the chicken skin and i feel the rush and it doesn't stop until its over. i love mma and many fighters but this only happens with bj. Im not a fan, Im an admirer of his life. when i first saw him fight manny years ago. i was pulling for him because he was from Hawaii and my grandfather was teaching me some Hawaiian at the time. thanks bj

pound for pound i put BJ and Anderson number one even tho we dont see silva's ground game much i dont think there are two fighters that are as smooth,technical,or feared on the feet and the ground as silva and bj are althought i put bj number one pfp because he brings it no matter what silva is timid when not being attacked and gsp since the serra knock out doesnt let the hands go anymore and hes a punk lol .

I follow him because he posted his website on a Banner on one of his fights :)

I visited the website and had much fun and got to know a little bit about Hawaii folks (Mahalo!) and culture, very similar to my own in many ways (I am an Island boy myself)
not to mention The pretty Wahine contest was just starting so I was like Woah!

Since then I have been posting every now and again.

I also got to know about Bj Penn and how important he is to his people.

The support is amazing!
