IS THE UFCS MW DIVISION A LITTLE BIT THIN
I hear this topic brought up alot on other mma websites,some people seem to think the ufcs mw division does nt stack up like the other divisions in the the ufc,some are of the opinion that theres no one in the division that is good enough take silva,s title.so is there a lack of top tier talent in the mw division? or are people just talkin shit?

yeah that's why silva's going to be moving up to light heavy weight but I mean Wanderlei has moved down look for some more guys to move up and move down but right now yeah it's looking kind of thin

its jus not the ufc 85 division !! it seems 2 b the story in all the fighting organizations !! really strange actually !! anderson is a A+ fighter in a B- division !! and when franklin was on his run it was even thinner !! and when your talking p4p best figthers on the planet, theres not even one middleweight modernday that even cracks the top 15 other than anderson and maybe henderson !! wand was once, but worldwide the mw division is jus not as stacked as its sister divisions thats for sure !!

Pretty thin for sure but after Nate Marquart get his next "W" he sould get a shot and I think he will be a good test for Anderson.

no way we saw what happen last time Anderson is just on another level than every one else if he wins against forrest there is no way any one right now in the mw division can beat him Anderson will be spending some time in the lhw division

Naw I think Anderson will go back to middle after Forrest, no reason for him to stay LHW and he has the belt so he has to defend it.
155, 170, and 205 are the most popular classes. Middle and Heavy are always kind of lacking in all origination. Even in amateurs. I've been thinking of doing 185 even though I can make 170 just because the talent pool is a lot slimmer and it might end up being better for me. I would be on the big side of 170 but there are so much great fighters in that class its hard especially when you are just starting out.

no in dana's last interview when asked about anderson and forrest and anderson and gsp dana said if anderson get's past forrest he going to spend some more time at lhw to challenge silva and that gsp has to beat every one in welter weight to get that kind of fight he feels george isn't ready and that the middle weight divison is so empty that he is asking vitor belfort to cut down and come to mw and the ufc again and every one who wants a shot at anderson in mw including ceorge at ww will have to wait

i think cro cop/couture/pat barry could do 205 aswell,but that doesn't help the MW division...
